Product Details

Manure, a time-honored natural fertilizer, has been used for centuries to improve soil fertility and nurture robust plant growth. However, not all manures offer the same nutrient composition. To harness the full potential of manure as a soil amendment, it's essential to determine its total nutrient content. This is where a reliable manure testing kit comes into play.

How to Perform the Total Nutrients Test on Manure

  1. Step 1: Collecting Manure Samples
    • Gather samples from different areas of your manure storage or composting facility.
    • Ensure the samples represent the overall nutrient composition of the manure.
  2. Step 2: Preparing the Samples for Testing
    • Air-dry the collected manure samples to eliminate excess moisture.
    • Break down any lumps to achieve a consistent texture for analysis.
    • Send a 1/2 gallon zip lock full of material to the address indicated on the submittal form.
  3. Step 3: Complete necessary paperwork
    1. Follow the instructions provided with order email carefully.
