Trees and shrubs have deep roots, so we need to test the subsoil to see what's happening around the roots. This test package consists of two tests; two soil samples that are analyzed separately. You will receive a report showing the topsoil's nutrient levels and another report identifying nutrient levels in the subsoil. This is the test you need if your nut and fruit trees do not produce like they used to or if your prized ornamentals are looking less healthy.
When collecting your samples, dig within the drip line or farthest-reaching branches of the tree/shrub and the trunk. When packaging your soil samples, be sure to place the samples into separate bags to prevent the topsoil from mixing with the subsoil.
NOTE: The 2-page color-coded report includes interpretations of the results so you don't have to be an agronomist to understand what the numbers mean. The report also includes custom fertilizer recommendations for your specific type of tree/shrub, be sure to clearly indicate what type of tree/shrub you have on your submittal form.

This test package DOES NOT include a kit. Please use a quart sized zip lock or similar bag to collect and ship your samples.

We offer a rush option for an additional 50% of the testing cost, but we would encourage you to give yourself time to test before you get to a point where a rush is needed.
