SD 25

Finally, there is an easy-to-apply solution to address the crop stubble leftover after harvest in your fields. Bio S.I. SD 25 helps recycle nutrients by utilizing all-natural soil-derived microbes to convert leftover plant debris from corn, wheat, beans, barley, cotton, rice, milo, beets, sugar cane, hops, grasses and many other crops into valuable carbon (humus), which holds nutrients and water in the rhizosphere. Leftover stubble is worth far more than it can be sold for and Bio S.I. SD 25 breaks it down, releasing all those nutrients and other elements that are tied up in the debris. These nutrients have already been paid for once, so using them for the next crop can result in substantial savings due to fertilizer input costs.

Stubble digestion is a crucial step in rebuilding the humus level of the soil, restoring soil tilth and renewing vital microbial activity in your soils. Apply Bio S.I. SD 25 to your fields to release valuable nutrients back into your soil for the next growing season.

Benefits of Using SD 25:

  • Improved nutrient recycling
  • Reduction in fertilizer input and expenditure

Application:

Do not mix with fungicides or pesticides.

Application Preparation: Perform normal tillage (if any) to get stubble into contact with the soil. For minimum and no-till practices, apply over stubble with a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. If mold board plowing, apply Bio S.I. SD 25 after tilling has been finished.

Application Rate: Rates may need to be adjusted according to your specific crop production and environment.

Apply 20-25 oz. of Bio S.I. SD 25 per acre with a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. For best results, supplement application with 16-32 oz. of Bio S.I. Melaco (agricultural molasses) and 2-4 quarts of Bio S.I. Nutra-Hume (humic acid) or fulvic acid per acre. The carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of plant debris needs to be taken into consideration because a balanced ratio accelerates the rate of decomposition and decay. Normally you should consider using 15-20 units of nitrogen (urea) to help in the process.

Application Methods: For surface sprayers/ground rigs, make sure the tank has been properly cleaned prior to application of Bio S.I. SD 25. If a fungicide has been used, clean with sterilizer or triple rinse. Bio S.I. SD 25 may be injected through pivot or any irrigation system calibrated to get even coverage. Use a centrifugal or diaphragm pump for best results. Do not use piston or roller pumps to apply this product.

Surface Application: Apply Bio S.I. SD 25 at the rate 20-25 ounces per acre. Mix with minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. Under dry conditions, use more water. Bio S.I. SD 25 can be mixed with small amounts of fertilizer, but use the entire mixture the same day; do not store any remaining solution. Some situations require smaller applications, some larger. If your plants are larger and producing more the higher rate will need to be used.

Irrigation Systems: Calibrate system to deliver at the desired application rate. Do not mix with other chemical/fertilizers and store at pivot for injection over a long period of time. Use a separate container to inject Bio S.I. SD 25.
