TPS LAB Helps Hemp Growers

In a competitive market, having the latest technology or product can give you an edge over the competition and help make you more profitable. With new products and equipment appearing on the hemp scene almost daily, it isn't easy to know which works and which doesn't.

You now have the opportunity, as an Industrial Hemp Grower, to make the most of your investment and avoid costly mistakes.

Who do you rely on?
Pioneers since 1938.

For more than 85 years, TPS Lab has worked side by side with growers and producers from all over the world.

We understand that each crop has specific methods and practices that work best, but successful growers know the thing that produces great crops is fertility management. Throughout the growing season, there are critical times that affect the quality and size of a crop's yield. Some growers rely on tradition or experience to determine when and how to manage their crops fertilization, but the most profitable producers rely on TPS Lab.

Here's how

HEMPlan™

Works for you...

HEMPlan® helps growers of any experience level maximize their inputs and manage their fertilization practices like a pro!

First, we start with the foundation of every hemp grow, the soil. We are one of only a few labs in the world that still use CO2 extraction to test nutrient availability. This process is very labor-intensive but mimics how plant roots extract nutrients from the soil, and that's why it produces the best results. We combine this raw data with other methods to show you your total nutrient bank.

Growers will have a complete picture of what soil nutrients are immediately available and what's in reserve. Customized fertility recommendations will show you how to correct deficiencies, and sustainable practice recommendations will show you how to unlock tied up nutrient reserves.

Our program gives growers an edge over the competition by providing advanced notification of possible heavy metal contamination in their soil. We perform a complete 32 element heavy metal analysis on your soil to make you aware of any potential problems.

Finally, a frequently overlooked aspect is water quality. HEMPlan® includes a comprehensive water analysis to give you the information you need to make necessary adjustments to your foliar application practices and fertigation methods.

Imagine how much easier it would be to grow hemp if plants could talk?

Plant sap testing does just that; it lets the plants talk! A plant sap analysis is the best way to see what nutrients your plants are missing.  Some nutrient deficiencies can have the same symptoms or look like excesses. Relying on visual signs to manage your crop's fertilization can be difficult for people who don't have the experience.

Take, for example, the images below. Can you identify which shows a magnesium deficiency and which shows a potassium deficiency?

Both show similar damage, burnt or dead leaf tips, and yellowing of the leaf. Yet, they have different problems and require different solutions.

Early-on plant nutritional imbalances can wreak havoc on hemp's genetic yield potential. Scheduled proprietary comprehensive Hemp-Specific Plant Sap Analyses during the season is the key to the success of HEMPlan™  for making outstanding crops with lowest THC possible for your plants' genetics.

Early diagnosis is essential for forecasting nutrient deficiencies and imbalances 7 to 21 days before plant development is affected and THC levels rise due to nutritional stress by dynamically correcting crop nutrition by applying the Right Nutrients at the Right Time.

Nutritionally-balanced plants are dramatically less susceptible to disease and insect problems, require less water and are more stress-resistant.

This shows a magnesium deficiency

And this shows a potassium deficiency

While a soil test may show adequate levels of potassium, various conditions can cause a plant to become deficient. Plant sap testing is the only way for you to get the information you need to manage these situations.

Starting at emergence or transplant and all the way to harvest, we will test your plant's nutrient profile every two weeks, so you don't have to guess.

These tests are all included in the program!

The final critical point of information every grower needs to know is their crops THC concentration.

A massive benefit of bi-weekly testing is the ability to track rising cannabinoid concentrations. When your plants begin to flower, we will recommend you perform potency testing every two weeks, increasing to weekly as you get closer to harvest.

Unfortunately, some growers have suffered the complete loss of their crop due to "hot" levels of THC. New USDA guidelines require testing of Total THC instead of delta - 9 THC, which makes potency testing even more critical.

No more guessing what your crops' THC concentration is, now you'll have that information on a bi-weekly basis!

The best part is that all this invaluable information comes in an easy to read format that includes nutrient levels and relevant recommendations. We have designed our reports to be more user-friendly and easier to understand.
